This issue is related to Tick replay mode and historical data processing inside the platform.


Step 1. Delete your Ninja database cache data. NinjaTrader 8.0.18.1 clears database cache automatically on each run so you can skip this.

• Shut down NinjaTrader.

• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > db folder.

• Delete the sub-folder named ‘cache’.

• Restart NinjaTrader and test.


Step 2. Delete your Ninja database data. NinjaTrader 8.0.18.1 clears database cache automatically on each run.

WARNING: your loaded data will be not available after this (including Market replay)

• Shut down NinjaTrader.

• Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 folder.

• Rename the sub-folder named ‘db’ to 'db.bak'

• Restart NinjaTrader and test.

Later you can copy your Market replay data from 'db.bak\replay' folder to 'db\replay' or restore whole 'db' folder.
